  STAY AWAY!! My wife and I trusted PALATKA FLOORING's recommendation to install TARKETT vinyl on our slab floor to replace wood laminate. Our floor level is now lower because TARKETT's vinyl planks are thinner than the laminate it replaced. No underlayment was used during install. Every slab imperfection shows through. Additionally, there is excessive space under our doors and baseboards due to the lower floor level. $8930 SPENT AND IT LOOKS TERRIBLE!! We researched on-line reviews (after job was already done) and discovered there are multiple complaints nationwide regarding TARKETT's products for the same issues as we are having. PALATKA FLOORING SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF TARKETT's PROBLEMS AND SHOULD NOT HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM!! We have asked PALATKA FLOORING to remove TARLETT product and issue a refund.... so we can get job the done right.... but no one is coming forward.
